WELCOME
Apart from the exceptional dives offered by the Maltese islands, the archipelago is really mythical, it is described as a real open-air museum, because its territory is dotted with the oldest structures in the world. The winding and narrow streets of its cities include many Baroque places and Renaissance cathedrals.
The Maltese archipelago is located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, 93 km south of Sicily and 288 km east of Africa. The archipelago consists of three islands : Malta the largest, Gozo the second and Comino practically uninhabited. The archipelago has a population of about 400.000 inhabitants over an area of 316 square kilometers.
Thanks to a warm and sunny climate all year around, clear waters, lively evenings and 7.000 years of history, there is much to do and to see on the archipelago, the places to visit are easily identifiable, such as the capital Valetta, a UNESCO world heritage site.
The fusion of cultures and their influences over the centuries has created a marriage of styles and traditions, giving the archipelago a fascinating and eclectic culture, even non-divers will be conquered !
